 Cracking the Time Function

Time the most elusive parameter in science always keeps the intelligent minds wonder how to play with it.  The base information revels that time is not static, and it is dynamic. It is science which fixes the time function. There are many possibilities that science spreads out in designing a time function.

Time as a circular loop function, time as a sinusoidal function, time as a parabolic function, time as a converging function, time as a diverging function, time as a straight line function, time as an exponential function, time as a discrete function, time as a void function, time as a multiplying function, time as a division function, time as a wave function, time as a quantum function and time as a relative function.

All these time functions are in usage but not by everyone and everything. Every living and non-living thing is linked to any one of the time functions. Time function cannot be generalized or singular.

Trees may adopt an exponential time function, small plants may adopt a sinusoidal time function, non-living matters may adopt a straight-line time function, climate and seasons may adopt a circular loop time function, growing embryos may adopt an elliptic time function and newborn animals may adopt a parabolic time function.

The algorithm of time function is different for different users. Science drives human mind to keep travelling in all directions on an exploration mode to find the truth. What science does not know is that human mind will not stop its journey once the truth is found. It will get into the experimental process of altering the algorithms and manipulate the end result which eventually manipulates the very truth.

If parabolic function of time be injected into the chemical elements, then the existence of chemical elements will be similar to the birth and death cycle. If straight line time function is injected into an orbiting planet, then it will escape from the circular loop time function. If converging time function is injected into mutation process, then new species will not be generated.

Stepping out of the time clock 24 hours' time function and viewing time as a multiple time functions will show many new doors and the truth behind everything in the universe.

Human actions have knowingly or unknowingly altered the circular loop time function and its algorithms which have resulted in a climate change causing extreme conditions eventually. If human intelligence has limits in completely studying all possible time functions, AI tools can be used to synthesize and evolve a large set of data on the possible time functions.

Cracking the algorithm of a straight-line time function and altering it results in adaptable mutation process. One time function can be altered to another time function. Two or more-time functions can be combined to get a new set of time functions.

Evolving scientific minds generate a spark which sets as a trigger to alter time functions. Beside the human mind there is this mind of nature which plays with all available time functions. Nature uses and keeps all the time functions well protected and out of reach of any other system. Every time someone or something crake one shell of protective layer nature builds another layer of protection to safeguard time functions.

On Freewill and Destiny

 On Freewill and Destiny

Freewill is the power one holds to make own choice and decisions independent of any preset fate. Destiny is events which are beyond control and cannot be changed but just accepted.

Outcome of events happening on account of freewill and on account of destiny sets a never-ending debate for ages. Many believe in freewill, and many believe in destiny, interestingly both walk their respective lives side by side accepting the final outcome as an end product of their choice.

By viewing technology through the lens of freewill and destiny leads to a wider topic for futuristic discussion.

If technology is an act of freewill then its entire outcome produces both favorable and unfavorable results, some are benefitting and some are disturbing. Those who enjoy benefits attribute it to freewill and those who get disturbed prefer destiny over freewill.

If technology is an act of destiny, then its entire outcome also produces both favorable and unfavorable results, some are benefitting and some are disturbing. Those who benefit attribute it to destiny and those who get disturbed prefer freewill over destiny.

Destiny stands unchanged but freewill encourages experimentation. The digital revolution has brought Artificial Intelligence to the foreground. This AI has started to change the way people live. Rapid progress in AI technology has brought distress in social patterns and economic functions.

If AI is an outcome due to developmental process based on freewill then the emerging result should have options of freewill to alter the outcome rather than pushing the outcome to an unchangeable destiny.

If AI is an outcome due to developmental process based on destiny, then the emerging result should have no option for freewill to alter results but simply accept the unchangeable outcome of destiny.

The impact of AI revolution has changed the social lifestyle. Human society is inching towards total acceptance of AI systems through digital patterns of compelling nature. If humans accept these compelling digital patterns in social life, then they step into a circle from which they will not be able to come out.

If AI revolution is a process of destiny, then humans will simple be forced into the circle due to compelling patterns and will not be able to exit. But if AI revolution is a process of freewill then even if they enter into the circle due to compelling patterns there will always be an option of freewill to help them to step out of the circle.

To accept without altering or to alter without accepting is in the hands of the policy makers who design the future. Politicians and Technocrats have to synchronize in designing the future or a "Techno-politician" has to design the future.

Two minds are always better than one, but much will depend on whether they synchronize or not.

 Exploring Life

It was an opportunity to go through the video on “Water Anomalies” by the Brazilian Physicist Marcia Barbosa. It sparked a new exploration connecting life and chemistry.

It is true that the major chemical compound on Earth is water. The machinery of nature has devised an industrial process without any machine to ensure that this major compound water goes through a process of evaporation from ocean, process of condensation in atmosphere and to the process of precipitation, the rain, to get back to earth and its ocean.

All living creatures on Earth are designed to survive with the help of this compound water. In fact, all living things are an integral part of water. This is science and from here starts another journey into exploring the science of universe.

Presume that an extra-terrestrial traveler in some part of the universe visits a catalogue store cataloguing life and its support systems, the item Earth will feature water and water-based life system.

Our search for life outside Earth needs a new dimension to view. Many of us are searching for life similar to those in our ecosystem, the Earth. But the point we are missing is that any life on Sun, Venus, Mars, Saturn or any other heavenly body will be an integral part of the maximum chemical compound that is available on that heavenly body.

Once the data of maximum chemical compounds present in planets and other heavenly bodies are gathered and catalogued, then the analytics on these data will lead us to the possible form of life that could exist in these systems. These new life forms in other planets will be an integral part of the chemical compounds that exists there.

If at all there be any life system out there in the universe more intelligent and advanced than us, then they would have started this process of cataloguing. In fact, they would have initiated a plan to collect and conduct experiment on water to get more information about life on Earth.

If there be no life system more intelligent than us out there in the universe, then we will be the first to initiate and start the process of cataloguing the availability, in abundance, of chemical compounds in various planets and heavenly bodies.

It will be wise to introduce a subject paper on astrochemistry and start a whole new establishment to study and explore life in the universe through chemistry. The more humans walk away from the core of fundamentals the quicker they will be lost in both space and time. 

Today's world may be integrated by electronics and communications, but the first primary integration always happens in chemistry and all the other integrations are just applications.

On Layoffs

 On Layoffs

In the past few months, the word that went around unannounced but destabilizing all things that were stable was “Layoff”. When it really happens then it should be like a silent wave hitting the dissolving sands. Some may experience the sun as a black disc, and many may not hear even a loud music. The word “Layoff” pins the mind to the self with no physical pain felt even with a huge iron sphere simply hung around the career neck with a chain made of hours and days.

Human life cycle encourages education to get prepared to be used as a valuable workforce. Layoffs actually happen when any establishment runs into economic and financial crisis. It is usual for establishments running into financial distress to ask its staff to leave the job. But what is happening now is simple a major wave of displacement as a result of technological advancement.

One may begin to realize that when works can be executed by AI and machines, then the need for human resources is absent. The question that comes up is” Were the human’s born to work at all?”

Animals were domesticated by humans to assist them in work. All livestock worked really sincerely without any word of burdened pain uttered. As technology developed, these livestock were replaced by machines. No one till today really knows whether these domesticated livestock’s thought this move as a boon or burden. But when the same happens to humans it is seen as a burden. Burden is not for the condition but for the situation. Livestock did not build a committed lifestyle, but humans built a lifestyle which is more demanding in economic terms.

It looks likely that in a futuristic scenario no humans will be needed to work because all essential and necessary functions will be done by AI and machines. In such a scenario what sense will humans hold in designing a demanding lifestyle. Who is to be blamed?

In a world without humans there were many creatures living by following the natural equation without any binding commitments. Human on entering into the world could have designed a simple living like any other creatures. One thing that made humans to run a race chasing what they created and running after what they committed is the invention of the economic system.

If Economic system has caused all the problems, then the same economic system has to solve all the problems too. If humans want to keep the world functioning as earlier, then they have to apply brakes on technological developments. Technological developments at times become poison to the very human existence.

If humans cannot stop the technological advancements, then they have to either abolish the present economic system or develop a new system that will keep the world going happily together in harmony and peace.

It is wise to work for a solution rather than wait for one.

Boyle's Law and Economics

Boyle’s Law states that the pressure of a given mass of an ideal gas is inversely proportional to its volume at a constant temperature. Ideal gases are those which exist theoretically where the gas particles move in random, and they are free from interparticle interaction.

When an ideal gas is put in a container where the temperature is constant then the pressure of the ideal gas will increase when the volume it occupies starts to reduce, similarly the pressure of the gas will decrease when the volume of it occupies increases.

In Boyle’s Law the ideal gas us discussed with changeable volume which results in changing pressure provided the temperature is not altered. An attempt is made to read this Boyle’s Law in relation to economics. When volume gets designated to area of economic activity and pressure designated to economic stress, then economic conditions are to be kept to a constant like the temperature where the ideal gas gets designated to economic activity.

For an ideal condition the Boyle’s Law should read that the economic stress will reduce when the area of economic activity increases, similarly the economic stress will increase when the area of economic activity decreases.

In the era of globalization where the area of economic activity has increased diluted national borders the economic stress should be reduced to minimum giving greater scope for economic activities to progress and flourish. But this ideal condition is not present, what is seen is an increased level of economic distress resulting in waves of layoffs around.

Checking into what went wrong and what caused a deviated from the Boyle’s Law throws open many views. There can never be something called ideal gas, there are too many economic activities happening around. Some economic activities are in the same areas of business resulting in a competition within that industry. Some economic activities are interrelated to one and another causing a chain reaction.

The economic conditions are not constant like the temperature, Government policies, policies between nations, rate of exchange in currency rates, demands, supplies, inflations and recessions impact every bit of economic activities.

It looks like Boyle’s Law will not be true in a globalized economic activity. May be in a non-globalized and strictly self-sustained national economic activity Boyle’s Law may be true. Globalization assured a lot with enhanced economic activities but relatively delivered too little compromising of assurances and eventually increasing economic distress at a global level.

Not sure if the rise in interest rates, uncontrolled inflations, increasing exchange rates, layoffs, credit-based economy, depletion in savings, increase in debts, compromised revenues and escalation in living costs be tagged to globalization.

One thing is for sure, Boyle’s Law will not hold good in a real time economic activity on a global platform.

In Pursuit of a Second Home 

Home is a place where we belong. It is the place that connects one to their near and dear. The need for a home comes when we are either away from it or do not have one to go.

Earth, the great Mother earth, has been our home irrespective of the nation's we belong, and its law bounded boundaries. A person belonging to a home will never cause damage to the home they stay both knowingly and unknowingly. This may be true for plants, animals, birds and aqua lives but the same cannot be stated with humans without a pause on the lips.

A look around suggests how this beautiful earth gifted to live has been subjected to many distressing changes due to satisfy the desires and fancies of humans. Setting the house in order will be difficult task because more than humans it is the nations that are tagged to insatiable egos. There are people who would like to reset the entire earth system and keep it healthy, but these people are without power to control any machinery.

No one and no nation can furnish the status report on the health of our world. It will be pointless to analyze on events that led to the current state of health of our lovely earth. But planning a future which will slowly reduce the health hazards suffered by the earth and start to focus on progressive strategies will be wise.

Everyone will prefer to have a 100% chance to reset the health state of the earth to make it most healthy, but it will take huge efforts from all nations and also a lot of time. It will be wise to start searching for a second home in the universe just in case things do not go as planned in the process of reinstating a healthy earth.

The next best option is the very next door, the Mars. Many would prefer to address it as our Mars, but the fact is it is not our Mars. The space mission and Mars mission of many countries seem to be on a domination race. There will be no purpose served if Mars be dominated by nations with self-prioritized visions and ideas.

Mars can be made a second home. Mars should be a planet without nation. Mars should not be infected with economic ideologies. Mars should be free from the dominations of power, religion and capitalism. Mars should be free from war. Mars should be planned as a one civilization aiming to be good in making a healthy planet for better living for all species.

Mars should be a universal planet with good living conditions. Mars should not be another photocopy of the earth. Mars should not also be a dumping ground for all wasted human technologies. If humans are incapable of making a healthy Mars, then it will be wise to abolish all missions to Mars.

It is essential and important to search for a second home in the universe. This second home should not be made of infrastructure with the burden of Mother Earth. This second home should be futuristic and be built around the concept of the universal dream of unity and oneness.
