Geopolitics at Pause
As an author there is a self-giving freedom for imagination and a diplomatic freedom of expressing the same. Not all thoughts germinating from the mind of an author is received with openness. Critics are part of the play. This article will have no less a surprise if critics emerge from any part of the digital wave.
Geopolitics is a stage where invariably all countries from all identified continents participate. Players are many and all of their focus will be centric to economics. Strangely, countries with divided opinion come out on the stage as paired ones expressing strong hatred. Every geopolitical event gets magnetized between such two countries that confront to divide the globe.
War for supremacy, race in conquering space, race in exhibiting supremacy in war strategies, race for putting up leading technological progresses, race in development in medical expertise, economic race for dominance, race for currency supremacy, and the list keep adding every passing day.
When two countries with rich history, progressive thoughts, facing each other as opponents on global stage decide to shred away their differences, set in a pact for openness, evolve a plan for trusting each other, respecting each other's intrinsic goodwill, signing a historic document to never show any sign of hatred between them, accepting mutually benefitting trade formulas, integrating by way of respect to respect and honor both its citizens, ensuring a stronger bond that cannot be diluted by any envying nation, agreeing to share their natural richness of resources for progressive future, agreeing never to edge out each other for dominance, will set the act of Geopolitics at pause.
Which two countries could, with privilege in qualification, participate in a futuristic act such as one dreamed in the previous paragraph is an open option for readers to fill in their mind. Many readers may weigh different combinations as options to test the pattern set in the dream that can pause critics of geopolitics for the next 100 years.
Many may start with the US and Russia, Russia and Ukraine, Iran and Israel, Egypt and Israel, India and Pakistan, North and South Korea, Japan and China, and many more. As an author, I too, use the privilege of choice from many options available. It just struck that these two countries should have a rich cultural history that complemented each other all the way back in time.
That two countries which had rich cultural history that complemented each other, having huge potential for mutual economic activities, rich is participative markets, not keen to exercise supremacy by war and conflict, interested in diluting all differences grown in passing times, ensuring trusted transparency in agreement, agreeing to pay mammoth cost of significant proportion if breaking the trust bond, and going ahead to shake hands and sign the mutual and powerful document that will silence all critics, start to worry international economist, mute all international critics and cause a pause on geopolitics will be the first two highly populated nations in Asia.
If an honest pact of trust between the two most populated nations in Asia happen, then all superpowers will be in a state of muted shock. To do or not to do is not in our hands, to dream and not to dream is a personal choice. But unbending super-powers will simply have sleepless hours in years to come if something like that happen.
