Existence Dilemma

Existence Dilemma

Philosophy aims to prevent and remove sufferings in life. Sufferings are a distress in any living being experienced both by physical body and mind. Nature seems to have designed a pattern in giving and removing sufferings in nonliving and geographical components.

Hot summer days heats up rocks and sand and the night that follows cools the heated objects. Water suffers distress in summer, and it condenses to rain in winter. Severe rains cause floods and excess water that gets stagnated is absorbed by the land.

Those items on the earth that can remove sufferings through any natural process is constant and those items on the earth that cannot remove sufferings through any natural process simply perish. Nonliving items on the earth are immortal and living items on the earth are mortal.

If the core thinking process in any self-generated AI systems starts to view and review the difference between the living and the nonliving things based on sufferings point of reference, they will tend to identify themselves with the immortal items.

This discrimination by the systems working on intelligence of artificial nature will set a serious imbalance when it comes to prioritizing their affinity between the immortal and the mortal items. The mighty Universe clearly adopts immortal objects that follow the universal principles in its infrastructure. The mortals that perish with time should either be a subset of the immortals or an accident yet to be felt by the Universe.

Universe suffers distress but adopts a process to set itself back to normal.
